Trust Me, You Won't Believe Your Eyes

"PhotoRealistic Paintings By Jason De Graaf".....Are they photographs? Nope. Are they computer generated? Nope. They are all paintings in acrylic on canvases. Yup, you read that right. The images below are all painted by hand by one of the pro-est painters I've discovered. Jason De Graaf is a painter from Canada who's work is so realistic that to a glance or to the untrained eye, you would mistakenly think his work was done with a different medium. He focuses on light and its relationship with reflection and transparency. The goal to his unique style is to give you a different view of things that photography cannot capture, such as the certain...

A 2011 Wishlist ;D

"Twinkle Twinkle Lil Star".....Ahh yes, counting down to the days till the end of 2010. I've had all I wanted for Christmas this year and what a better way to plan out the upcoming year with a newly defined wish list =D. Always keep in mind that time will change your plans no matter what, so with the time given do as much as you can as possible ^-^. Instead of a wish list of lil materialistic things that won't do much good in the future, I decided to create a list where I know will benefit my future. They may cost holes in them wallets, but I know they'll help me me in the end where it all pays off ^-^ 1. -ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE 5 MASTER COLLECTION[OR...

Inspiring Photographs By JLace Photography (Johnny Carracedo)

I discovered his work through searching Tumblr and seriously fell in love with his style at first glance. There's always goin to be an obvious difference between anyone's work who deals with any form of art and that is the difference of seeing work done by people who just does it and seeing work from people who loves it. In Johnny's case though, you can clearly see how much he loves what he's doing. He has a keen eye for detail and his chosen style makes his captures feel like a true memory. Could you believe he's only 19, and already...

First Week Of Project 365

I found out all bout the 365 project when I wrote about Julia Wang's photography. It was really interesting, the whole concept around it is that you must take a picture every single day for the whole year and post and write about them aswell. This whole project will help you to become better in your craft and you'll be shock on how much you'll improve by the end of the year. So I thought to myself that since my brand new first DSLR camera was coming in, that I should use this project to get used to it. For the past months of getting back into photography, I've been using only a compact point-and-shoot camera. Yup, all my work tagged with Myreikko...
